Some time ago I came across a phrase of the renown musicologist Felipe Pedrell which really inspired me and I think it captures the very essence of PBL: "Lo poco que sabemos, lo sabemos entre todos" or "What little we know, we know it among us all."
Through the last ten years my students and I have created a variety of projects, experiences I have always enjoyed from which we have all learned. Teaching Spanish and English through project-based learning has allowed me to focus on the participation and engagement of every student, a hands on approach that places trust in the student and celebrates their creativity.
